Labata Fantalle Organization Assists Emergency Affected Pastoralist Communities of Fantalle in Ethiopia
With generous support of our partners Seventh Generation Fund for Indigenous Communities and Pawanka Fund, Labata Fantalle Organization has provided emergency animal feed for pastoralist households of Fantalle Woreda (District) severely affected by the compound effects of Earthquake and Drought emergencies. The intervention was made under the project entitled “Emergency Response to Crisis Affected Fantalle Community in Fantalle District, East Shewa Zone of Oromia Regional State, Ethiopia”. Through the current assistance, 1 800 bales of grass hay were provided for 14 400 core breeding stock (cattle) belonging to 300 pastoralist households (60% of whom were female-headed households) selected from three project target villages of the woreda. We are so grateful to our partners the Seventh Generation Fund for Indigenous Communities and Pawanka Fund for their trust in us and for their invaluable supports that enabled us to reach our communities facing multiple crises with this and other emergency assistances. #Fentale, #Ethiopia, #DroughtEmergency #Earthquake #localization #PawankaFund #SeventhGenerationFund
