LaFO has provided scholastic materials to 100 students from resource-constrained families, helping them prepare for and return to school for the new Ethiopian academic year. This vital support helps children overcome barriers to education and start the school year with greater confidence, thanks to the generous support of LaFO’s partners. The initiative was complemented by Back-to-School Campaigns and Community Conversations at the grassroots level. These activities encouraged school resumption, enrollment, and regular attendance, while strengthening community commitment to education. By combining material support with awareness-raising campaigns, LaFO is working closely with Fantalle Woreda Education Office to help reduce school dropout, improve educational outcomes, and promote a culture where every child has the opportunity to learn and thrive.
